RΕΑ Obstetrics Gynaecology Clinic recognises its responsibilities and obligations towards the environment and humanity through the development of an environmental management system in accordance with ISO 14001:2004, and is committed to:

Safeguarding public health and the environment through the waste management of the Health Unit;
Complying with the applicable environmental legislation;
Continuously improving its environmental performance; 
Preventing and avoiding pollution being caused; 
Taking all the necessary steps for addressing environmental issues that are related to its activities; and 
Rationally managing resources.

Through the development of the environmental management system in accordance with ISO 14001 that relates to:

PROVISION OF OBSTETRICS AND GYNAECOLOGIC HEALTH SERVICES

RΕΑ Obstetrics Gynaecology Clinic identifies all the environmental parameters that relate to its activities and develops procedures and programs for the purpose of continually improving its environmental performance. Its environmental policy focuses upon the following:

Managing the solid and liquid wastes produced by allocating priority to their separate collection and recycling / management;
Providing the necessary financial resources for managing HUW;
Saving energy through the development of a system for monitoring the consumption of natural resources;
Continually updating senior management and staff on environmental issues; 
Training and Sensitising employees; and
Cooperating with the authorities to provide all the required details. 

The company’s environmental policy is published, communicated, implemented and supported by every employee at REA Obstetrics Gynaecology Clinic.
